Based on the well known Schimmel 182 these superb instruments have that full rich sound that far eastern pianos never possess yet at a price you cant believe. This Samick SU-107 has a rich, warm tone and a touch even the most skilled pianists would enjoy. The most distinguishing feature of the X models like this piano are the radial back-posts found in back of the piano (see picture slideshow above) which add about 70 lbs to the weight of the piano and improves tone projection, power, and sustain.
